FUNERAL SERVICES FOR P. A. HIEBERT AT HILLSBORO MENNONITE CHURCH
Hillsboro, Kansas. — Funeral services for P. A. Hiebert, widely known farmer, stockman and ex-county commissioner who died here last week, were held at the local First Mennonite church Friday afternoon, April 21.
Mr. Hiebert passed away at the Salem Hospital Tuesday morning, April 18, after a severe illness of about two months. He is survived by his wife, four sons, two daughters and several brothers and sisters.

P. A. HIEBERT, son of Abraham and Helena Pankratz Hiebert, was born February 8, 1873, in South Russia. Bind died April 18. 1944. He came to this country with his parents. In 1901 he was baptized by Rev. Hirschler and received into the First Mennonite Church, Hillsboro. He served his church as Sunday School superintendent, choir leader, deacon, and otherwise. He received his early education in the Hoffnungsthal School and later he attended Bethel College and McPherson College. He and Emma Weyand were united in marriage in 1903. Since 1918 they have lived on their farm west of Hillsboro. His wife and six children survive him.
