Linda L. Hiebert, daughter of Frank W. and Elizabeth (Tieszen) Hiebert, was born March 21, 1909, in Bingham Lake, Minn.
At the age of 20 she accepted Christ as her Savior, and was baptized upon confession of her faith and received into the membership of the First Mennonite Church of Mt. Lake by Rev. I. J. Dick. In later years she transferred her membership to the Bethel Mennonite Church where she remained a member until her death.
She stayed at home until 1941 when the Lord led her to Midway Hospital in St. Paul, Minn. Here she worked with patients, attended night classes and was graduated as a licensed practical nurse. On Dec. 3 she became seriously ill and was hospitalized in Swedish Hospital on Thursday, Dec. 4, for treatment of a kidney ailment. In spit of loving care by the doctors and nurses, the Lord saw fit to relieve her of her pain and suffering at 11:00 a. m. Saturday, Dec. 6. She attained the age of 49 years, eight months, 15 days.

She was a great lover of children and tried in various ways to show love and appreciation for them.
