— A resident of Newton for the past six years, John E. Hiebert of 119 Southwest 6th street, passed away suddenly last Saturday afternoon while doing some work for a local doctor. His death was believed due to a heart attack. Funeral services were scheduled to be held Wednesday afternoon at the Tabor Mennonite church north of Newton. Mr. Hiebert was 56 years old, having been born at Lehigh on Feb. 25, 1890. Survivors included his wife, Mary, and two sons and two daughters. Albert Hiebert of Newton, Frank Hiebert of Stillwater, Okla., Mrs. Rose Weesner of Whitewater, and Mrs. George Ramsey.
