• Relatives here received word early Tuesday morning that Dave Hiebert of Portland, Ore. had been instantly killed a few hours earlier in a traffic accident in San Francisco, Calif. He was a brother of Mrs. Henry F. Unruh of Newton, Mrs. Marie Funk of rural Newton and Albert Hiebert of Burns, all of whom plan to leave Thursday morning by train to attend the funeral on Saturday in Portland. Mr. Hiebert would have reached his 77th birthday on the date of his funeral. It was reported that he was en route to the home of a sister, Mrs. Helen Buller of Fresno, and while changing trains was hit by a car.
