Sugarcreek, Ohio. — A large congregation of relatives and friends attended funeral services at the Chris Hershberger home Aug. 30 for Jacob C. Hershberger, 89, one of the oldest members of the Amish community here. He was a native of Holmes county and lived here all of his life except for 17 years in Indiana.

The large family relationship includes 93 direct descendants, including seven children, 37 grandchildren and 49 great grandchildren.

AMISH MEMBER DIED AT AGE OF 89

Sugarcreek, Ohio. — A large congregation of relatives and friends attended funeral services at the Chris Hershberger home Aug. 30 for Jacob C. Hershberger, 89, one of the oldest members of the Amish community here. He was a native of Holmes county and lived here all of his life except for 17 years in Indiana.

The large family relationship includes 93 direct descendants, including seven children, 37 grandchildren and 49 great grandchildren.
