One Dead, Three Hurt In Car-Truck Crash

Plain City, Ohio. — Funeral services were held at the United Bethel Conservative Mennonite Church May 22 for Emmanuel S. Hershberger, 57, who was killed in a car-truck crash near here May 19.

Mr. Hershberger died almost instantly when the car he was driving was hit head-on by a dump truck which swerved into the opposite lane of traffic.

His son, Willis, was hospitalized in critical condition with a skull fracture and other injuries. Two other passengers in the car, Aden Mullet and Jonas Frey, escaped with cuts and abrasions.
