<font size="+2">'''Aged Amish Member Dies at Old Home'''</font><br />
<br />
Winesburg, Ohio. &#8212; Eli P. Hershberger, who was nearing his 98th birthday, died Jan. 27 at the home of two nieces int he Amish settlement which was also his birthplace.<br />
<br />
A retired farmer, he had come here last fall from his home near Nappanee, Ind. Survivors include a son, Levi, of Berlin, and a number of grandchildren including eight great-great-grandchildren.<br />
<br />
The funeral was conducted at the home of Mrs. Susan Swartzentruber near Winesburg. Preaching was by Bishop Eli Yoder of Bremen, Ind., Abe D. Yoder, and Paul Hummel of Millersburg, Ohio, the latter speaking in English<br />
