Cashton, Wis. — Allen Hershberger, the two-year-old twin son of Pre. and Mrs. Menno M. Hershberger of Cashton, drowned in a milk cooling vat at the parental farm on Aug. 24. Funeral services were held on Aug. 26.
At the time of the accident, Allen was playing with one of his brothers who was also watching him when the brother went on an errand for his father. Only minutes later the brother found Allen in the milkhouse, lying in the vat face down. The fire department was summoned but was unable to revive him.
