NINETY-THREE YEAR OLD GRANDMOTHER LAID TO HER FINAL RESTING PLACE

Mountain Lake, Minn. — Funeral services where [sic] held at the First Mennonite church here Saturday, July 7, for Mrs. Anna Heppner, 93 year old pioneer grandmother who died on Wednesday, July 4.

the services at the church were conducted by Re.v I. J. Dick.

Grandmother Heppner, and her husband, Diedrich Heppner, settled on the prairies north of Butterfield in 1876, coming to this country from Russia. In 1913 the family moved to a farm near Mountain Lake. For the last three years she has been totally blind.

Ten children, 50 grandchildren, and more than 100 great-grandchildren survive.
