NETTIE L. HEINRICHS

Our beloved mother was born in Goessel, Kansas July 17, 1876. In her early youth she accepted Christ as her personal Saviour. She was baptized on June 5, 1898l, by Elder Cornelius P. Wedel and joined the Mennonite Brethren Church of which she remained a faithful member throughout her life.

On Sept. 18, 1896, she was united in holy marriage to Frank B. Heinrichs in Goessel, Kansas. This union was blessed with seven children.

In 1902 the family moved to Gotebo, Okla. They came to California in 1909, residing near Bakersfield. They have lived in the Reedley area during the past 45 years.

Two children preceded her in death, one in infancy, and her beloved daughter, Tillie, Mrs. Matilda Willems, in 1948. After 52 years of joyful wedded life, Frank, her beloved husband and our dear father, was called home to be forever with the Lord.

Since then our dearest mama carried on most bravely with a towering faith, a heart of service, a loving smile and as a pillar of spiritual strength to her children. Her prayers for all of us went up to the Lord continuously.

She died Thursday afternoon, March 8, 1956, at the age of 79 years, six months and 20 days. She went very quickly when the Lord called her home.

She leaves to mourn her death four sons, Walter R. and Richard L. of Fresno, Sam L. of Dinuba, and Edwin H. of Selma; two daughters, Mrs. Henry B. Warkentine of Bakersfield, and Mrs. John Heldoorn of Parlier; 11 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; two brothers, Peter P. Richert and John P. Richert of Reedley; and one sister, Mrs. August Schroeder of Reedley. — The children.
