— J. A. Heidebrecht received word of the death on Monday of his brother, Dietrich M. Heidebrecht of Dallas, Oregon, a former resident of newton. A son of the late Mr. and Mrs. P. G. Heidebrecht of Inman, he reached the age of 71. Funeral services were to be held at the Grace Mennonite Church, Dallas. Surviving in addition to the brother here are his wife Agatha; one son, Aldo of Hutchinson; four daughters, Mrs. Edna Raner and Mrs. Pauline Crase of Hutchinson, Mrs. Leona Stutzman of Salem, Ore., and Mrs. Marie Verna Koop of Roseburg, Ore.; 12 grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. H. A. Woelk of Goessel; and brothers John J. and Paul W. of McPherson, Gus and C. O. of Inman.
