Harry Hartzler, 86, a former Goshen, Ind. resident, who had spent the past five years in Elkhart, Ind., with his daughter, Miss Margaret A. Hartzler, died Monday forenoon, Feb. 14, at Elkhart General Hospital. He had been in failing health the past year.

Mr. Hartzler was born three miles southwest of Topeka, Ind. on June 30, 1879. He married Martha Jones June 30, 1903. She died Jan. 4, 1950.

Mr. Hartzler attended Elkhart Institute in Elkhart, Ind., 1900-1901. He was employed for a number of years hauling milk to the Goshen Milk Condensary and to the Middlebury Cooperative Creamery. He was a member of the Eighth Street Mennonite Church, Goshen.

Surviving, in addition to the daughter, are two sons, Malcolm J., Goshen, and Merle D., Cincinnati, Ohio; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Feb. 17 at the Eighth Street Mennonite Church. Rev. Herbert Fretz officiated and burial was made in Maple Grove Cemetery southwest of Topeka.

HARRY HARTZLER

Harry Hartzler, 86, a former Goshen, Ind. resident, who had spent the past five years in Elkhart, Ind., with his daughter, Miss Margaret A. Hartzler, died Monday forenoon, Feb. 14, at Elkhart General Hospital. He had been in failing health the past year.
