TWO-HEADED BABY TAKEN IN DEATH

Indiana’s much-publicized two-headed baby, born last December to Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Hartley of Petersburg, died April 20. The physician who took the child to the hospital said both heads were blue when it was admitted and that the two heads died simultaneously.

Although having two heads and four arms, the misformed lad had only a single respiratory and digestive-system. The saddened parents had considered the baby as two persons and had named the two heads Donald Raye and Daniel Kaye.
