ELDER GUSTAV HARDER (1856-1923). Rev. G. Harder was minister and elder of the Emmaus Church of Whitewater, Kansas, from its pioneer days util the time of his death. He was not instrumental in bringing these Prussian Mennonites to this country but was one of the successful leaders who faithfully served his church and conference at new frontiers. — Courtesy General Conf.
