Mt. Lake Resident Dies After Being Hit by Motorcycle

Mt. Lake, Minn. — Mrs. Peter C. Harder, 67, of Mt. Lake died in a Mankato hospital the evening of June 22 after being struck by a motorcycle at a Mankato street intersection about 10 a.m. the same day.

Mrs. Harder's injuries were diagnosed as fractures of the left arm and leg, and she underwent surgery early in the afternoon. The 20-year-old driver of the cycle escaped injury.

Mrs. Harder, the former Helen Falk, was a member of the Bethel Mennonite Church here. Besides her husband she leaves three sons, seven grandchildren, and a sister, Mrs. Frederick Wall of Mt. Lake.
