MOTHER OF ARGENTINA MISSIONARIES CALLED AWAY IN DEATH

Preston, Ontario. — Funeral services for Mrs. Melinda Hallman, 83, widow of the late Bishop Eli S. Hallman, were held at the Cressman Mennonite Church on Feb. 15. She had been living at the Fairview Mennonite Home here and died at a Waterloo hospital Feb. 12.

Mrs. Hallman, the former Melinda Clemens, and her husband were pioneer workers of the (Old) Mennonite church at Guernsey, Sask. and in South Texas. Bishop Hall- [line duplicated, line missing in original]

Surviving are four children, George of White Fox, Sask., William and Mrs. Anna Byler, missionaries in Argentina, Abram of Akron, Penn., and 14 grandchildren.
