• Donald L. Hall, 30, a lifelong resident here, was electrocuted Friday afternoon while working at Guerdon Industries. Investigating officers reported that he received the fatal charge as he he knelt in water and mud on the parking lot to plug an extension cord into a socket on a mobile home. The largely attended funeral was held Monday forenoon at the Bible Baptist Church of which he was a member. Survivors include his widow, the former Loretta Decker, and three small children of the home, four sisters and two brothers. Mrs. Hall's parents are Mr. and Mrs. Clayton Decker of Newton.
