Vincent F. Habegger, 54, of Linn Grove, manager of the Jefferson Street feed mill and store of the Berne Exchange, died Aug. 24 at the Adams County Memorial Hospital. He was apparently making a good recovery after being admitted Aug. 14 for treatment of a mild heart attack.

The funeral was conducted Aug. 27 at the First Mennonite Church. Survivors include his wife and four children, of whom two are still at home.

Mrs. Ivan c. Sprunger, 46, died Monday noon, Aug. 26, just as the family had seated themselves for the noon meal. She had been under treatment for a heart condition for some time.

Mrs. Sprunger leaves her husband and three children, two at home. She was a member of the Evangelical Mennonite Church, where the funeral was conducted on Wednesday.

Two Berne Residents Die Unexpectedly

Berne, Ind. — Heart ailments caused the deaths of two Berne area residents within a few day's time.

Vincent F. Habegger, 54, of Linn Grove, manager of the Jefferson Street feed mill and store of the Berne Exchange, died Aug. 24 at the Adams County Memorial Hospital. He was apparently making a good recovery after being admitted Aug. 14 for treatment of a mild heart attack.

The funeral was conducted Aug. 27 at the First Mennonite Church. Survivors include his wife and four children, of whom two are still at home.

Mrs. Ivan c. Sprunger, 46, died Monday noon, Aug. 26, just as the family had seated themselves for the noon meal. She had been under treatment for a heart condition for some time.

Mrs. Sprunger leaves her husband and three children, two at home. She was a member of the Evangelical Mennonite Church, where the funeral was conducted on Wednesday.
