MRS. SARAH HAAS OF PANDORA, OHIO, PASSED AWAY THERE LAST WEEK

Pandora, Ohio,Dec. Jan. 7. — Mrs. Sarah (Augsburger) Haas, 70, wife of Jacob Haas, died at her home here Monday night at eleven o'clock quite unexpectedly from an heart attack.

Funeral services will be held at the St. John Mennonite church with Rev. P. J. Boehr, pastor, officiating.

Mrs. Haas was born October 1, 1872 in Wayne county, Ohio, the daughter of Henry and Barbara (Moser) Augsburger.

On December 1, 1891 she was married to Rev. Jacob Haas. Eight children were born, seven surviving: Walter Haas, of Bluffton; Mrs. Enos Walter and Harvey Haas, of Mt. Cory; Albert Haas of Col. Grove; Mary Haas, missionary to Nigeria, West Africa; Mrs. Ernest Francis, of Detroit, Mich., and Milford Haas, of this place. — Pandora Times.

MRS. SARAH AUGSBURGER HAAS, wife of Rev. Jacob Haas, died at the age of seventy year, three months, and three days. She was born in Wayne County, Ohio, the daughter of Henry and Barbara Moser Augsburger. She united with the Swiss Mennonite Church when a young girl. She is mourned by her husband and seven children; Walter Haas of Bluffton, Ohio; Mrs. Enos Wlaters and Harvey Haas of Mt. Cory; Albert Haas of Columbus Grove; Mary Haas, who is a missionary to Nigeria, West Africa; Mrs. Ernest Francis of Detroit, Michigan; and Milford Haas of Pandora. Three surviving brothers and sisters are: Mrs. Jesse Welty and Mrs. Isaiah Welty of Bluffton; Mrs. Jesse Steiner of Mt. Cory, and Menno, Eli, and Walter Augburger [sic Augsburger] of Bluffton.
