Virginia Minister Dies of Injuries

Salunga, Pa. — A spinal injury suffered in a tractor accident proved fatal to James G. Gross, pastor of the Woodland Mennonite Church at Basye, Va.

Among those coming to attend the funeral were his son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Norman Hockman and family, serving as missionaries under the Eastern Board of Missions and Charities in Honduras. They were notified of the tragedy by radio.

Because of Mrs. Hockman's health, the family remained in the United States and Mrs. Hockman entered the Ephrata, Pa. Community Hospital on April 27 for further diagnosis and treatment.
