LARGE ATTENDANCE FOR FUNERAL OF FREEMAN, S. D. RESIDENT

Freeman, S. D. — Geo. J. Gross 70, well known and respected resident of the Freeman community, died suddenly of a heart attack Aug. 23 upon his return from a trip to visit relatives in Canada. Funeral services at the Hutterthal church, in charge of Paul J. R. Hofer and Rev. J. R. Kleinsasser, were widely attended. Mr. Gross was active in school and church work here.
