Ontario Woman Killed, Six Hurt in Crash

Hamilton, Ontario. — A head-on crash on Highway 6 near here claimed the life of Mrs. Norman Groh, 75, of Beamsville, Ont. and injured six other persons.

Admitted to St. Joseph's Hospital here with head injuries and cuts were Ellen Coffman, 57, of Vineland, driver of the car in which Mrs. Groh was a passenger, and three other passengers: Barbara Coffman, 60, sister of Ellen; Mrs. Isaac Culp, 47, and daughter Sharon, 4, of Vineland Station. Also injured were a Toronto motorist, driver of the other car, and his 19-year-old passenger.

There were no witnesses to the crash, which occurred on a straight stretch of highway. The Vineland women were returning home from a church meeting at Kitchener.
