Dies in Fall From Barn Roof in Indiana

SIMON GRABER KILLED AS SCAFFOLD GIVES WAY; ANOTHER ALSO INJURED

Berne, Ind. — Simon Graber, 25,of near Spencerville died Sept. 19 in a Ft. Wayne hospital from injuries suffered Sept. 14 in a fall when scaffolding gave way as he was helping repair a barn roof.

Also injured in the mishap was David Schmidt, 25, of near Spencerville. He remains in critical condition.

Funeral services were held for Graber on Sept. 21 at the residence, with burial in the Amish cemetery near Grabill.
