Mr. Graber's death occurred just one day before his 70th wedding anniversary. He and his wife had planned a quiet observance of the event at the nursing home. Mrs. Graber is now staying at the A. A. Schmidt home.

Aged Freeman Resident Called by Death

Freeman, S. D. — A number of relatives and friends from a distance came here for the funeral of Carl Graber, 94, well-known Freeman resident who died Jan. 27 at a nursing home in Parkston.

Mr. Graber's death occurred just one day before his 70th wedding anniversary. He and his wife had planned a quiet observance of the event at the nursing home. Mrs. Graber is now staying at the A. A. Schmidt home.

Mr. Graber was long active in community school affairs here.

The funeral was conducted at the Salem Mennonite Church by Rev. Willard Wiebe. Music was given by the Men's Chorus of the church.
