ADINA GRABER

Adina Graber, daughter of Christian Graber and Anna Goering Graber, was born Jan. 14, 1889 at Pretty Prairie, Kan., and departed this life Jan. 25, 1965 at Memorial Hospital, Kingman, Kan. She reached the age of 76 years and 11 days.

On March 27, 1904, upon her confession of faith, she was baptized by Rev. J. J. Flickenger [ sic Flickinger], thereby becoming a member of the First Mennonite Church of Pretty Prairie, Kan., where she remained an active member throughout her life.

She was married to Ben P. O. Graber on Nov. 1, 1906, with whom she shared life's joys and sorrows for 56 years. He passed away on April 30, 1963, after which she lived at the Prairie Sunset Home.

To this union were born nine children, of whom two sons, Irwin and Edwin; one daughter, Hilda, and one grandson preceded her in death.

Surviving are five daughters: Helen, Mrs. Dave Kaufman, Moundridge, Kan.; Edna, Mrs. Edwin E. Graber, Kingman, Hermie, Mrs. Allen P. Voran, Kingman; Mable [sic Mabel], Mrs. Levi Krehbiel, Pretty Prairie; Opal, Mrs. Leroy Krehbiel, Moundridge; one son, Raymond, of Kansas City; five sons-in-law, one daughter-in-law, 14 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.
