MRS. MATTIE GORSCHING
Mattie L. (Kiehn) Gorsching, daughter of Mathilda and Daniel Kiehn, was born on Aug. 17, 1893, near Hillsboro, Kan. Here she spent her childhood days with her parents. After spending a few years in Michigan, the family moved to Washita County, Oklahoma, and resided in the Cordell community.
As a young girl she recognized Christ as her personal Saviour. She was baptized upon her confession of faith and united with the Mennonite Church.
