Mrs. Peter W. Goossen, daughter of Jacob Fast, was born on April 14, 1902 at Mountain Lake, Minn. shortly after her birth her mother died. She was then taken into the home of her aunt, Mrs. Abr. Ratzlaff, where she stayed until she was married to Peter W. Goossen on the 25. of September 1921.

On the 15. of September at 3:45 A. M., after much suffering, her spirit departed into the Great Beyond. She reached an age of 25 years, 5 months, 1 day. The deceased leaves to mourn her early death her husband, four children, four sisters, three brothers, and her father.

Funeral took place on Sunday afternoon with services at the First Mennonite church. Rev. J. J. Balzer and Rev. Is. J. Dick officiated. — mt. Lke (Minn.) view.
