John Good, 73, died early Thursday morning, June 23, in Memorial hospital after an illness of several years. He was born in the Elida community on July 15, 1886. Surviving are his wife Verna, two sons, Kenneth of Morton, Ill., and Allen of Lexington, Ky.; a daughter, Mrs. Otis (Mildred) Good of this area; 12 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and four step grandchildren; three brothers, Crist of this area, Aaron of Lima, and Abram of Nampa, Idaho. he retired four years ago from the Superior Coach Corp. of Lima, where he had worked many years. He was a member of the Salem Mennonite church, where funeral services were held on Sunday afternoon with Richard Martin and Andrew Brenneman officiating.
