Funeral services for Mary F. Schmidt Golden, 75, of Bethesda Home, Goessel, were held July 16 at Tabor Mennonite Church, rural Goessel, Ray and Brenda Martin Hurst officiated. A former long-time Newton resident, she died at Bethesda on July 13. Survivors include her husband, John, of Newton; one brother, Ferd Schmidt of Goessel; and three sisters, Olga Pankratz and Esther Klassen of Goessel and Helen Janzen of North Newton. Two brothers and two sisters preceded her in death.

Funeral services for Mary F. Schmidt Golden, 75, of Bethesda Home, Goessel, were held July 16 at Tabor Mennonite Church, rural Goessel, Ray and Brenda Martin Hurst officiated. A former long-time Newton resident, she died at Bethesda on July 13. Survivors include her husband, John, of Newton; one brother, Ferd Schmidt of Goessel; and three sisters, Olga Pankratz and Esther Klassen of Goessel and Helen Janzen of North Newton.
