Funeral services for Jacob Goering, 78, of Galva and a lifetime McPherson County resident, were held at Garden Mennonite Church near Hesston on Nov. 30, with Carlon Tschetter and Bill Regier officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery. A retired farmer, he died on Nov. 27 at Memorial Home for the Aged, Moundridge. Survivors include his wife, the former Anna Schrag; three sons, James of Waterloo, Iowa, Dwight of Galva and Charles of Marion; one daughter, Sylvia Schroeder, Modena, Italy; and 12 grandchildren.

Funeral services for Jacob Goering, 78, of Galva and a lifetime McPherson County resident, were held at Garden Mennonite Church near Hesston on Nov. 30, with Carlon Tschetter and Bill Regier officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery. A retired farmer, he died on Nov. 27 at Memorial Home for the Aged, Moundridge.
