Emma (Kuhns) Glassburn, daughter of Leonard and Barbara (Slabaugh) Kuhns, was born Sep. 3, 1977 at Inman, Kan. She departed this life to be with the Lord Jan. 27, 1966 at the Pennock Rest Home, Anthony, Kan., at the age of 88 years, four months and 24 days.

On Nov. 22, 1904 she was married to Charles Andrew Glassburn, who with one son, John Harold, preceded her in death.

Surviving are six daughters, Mrs. Jacob Webb of Freeport, Kan., Estelle of Harper, Kan., Ada of Wichita, Kan., Mrs. Walter Wideman of Grants Pass, Ore., Mrs. Charles Bickel of Conway Springs, Kan. and Mrs. Victor Beyler of Protection, Kan.; and two sons, Vernon of Harper and Raymond of Fort Collins, Colo. She also leaves 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Her trust was in Christ as her Saviour and Lord. By precept and example her life was an influence to her children to trust the Lord Jesus Christ as the only one who can save.

Services were held Jan. 29 at the Pleasant Valley Mennonite Church, Harper.

MRS. EMMA GLASSBURN

Emma (Kuhns) Glassburn, daughter of Leonard and Barbara (Slabaugh) Kuhns, was born Sep. 3, 1977 at Inman, Kan. She departed this life to be with the Lord Jan. 27, 1966 at the Pennock Rest Home, Anthony, Kan., at the age of 88 years, four months and 24 days.
