the years, they served in refugee camps, tent
evangelism, retreats, English church ser

year-long battle with cancer, Gertrude died
on March 8, the first birthday of her grand
child.
She was predeceased by her parents, one brother in infancy, daughter Karin and son Walter. She leaves to mourn her beloved husband Elmer of Freiburg, West Germany; her son Dennis and daughter Phyllis, both married and living in Freiburg; daughter Marie Luise; two brothers and seven sisters, all living in Canada; one grandchild; and many relatives and friends.
