Farmer, Businessman Of Kidron, O. Dies

Didrikson, Ohio. — George Gerber, 65, a lifelong resident and well-known farmer here died June 20 at an Orville hospital after a brief illness. However, he had been in ill health for some time.

Mr. Gerber spent his entire life on a farm near here, where he also operated a slaughtering business. He had been a Sugar creek Township truestee [sic] for 15 years, and was president of the trustees organization. He formerly served on the school board here.

Funeral services were held at the Salem Mennonite Church, of which he was a member. His wife, the former Sarah Amsterdam, three sons, 10 grandchildren, and one sister, Mrs. Clinton Sprung er, survive.
