Retired Swiss Choir Leader Dies at Age 84

Langnau, Switzerland. — Largely attended funeral services were held at Pruntrut on Feb. 9 for Abraham Gerber, 84, the former long-time choir director of the Mennonite Church at Courgenay.

Survivors include 10 children, 28 grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. Mrs. Gerber preceded him in death in 1954.
