text of obituary:

Gerber. — Elizabeth, nee Lehman, was born on Sonnenberg, Wayne Co., Ohio, February 3, 1842, and departed to her eternal home January 18, 1923, aged 80 years, 11 months and 15 days, after several years of infirmities at times attended with severe suffering. She was a very faithful and consistent member of the Mennonite church here, from her youth, and of the Salem Mennonite congregation since its foundation. In 1871 she was married to C. U. Gerber, at that time a young widower, who has preceded her beyond four years ago. She leaves to cherish her loving memory, two sons, one daughter, and one step-daughter, and one grandson, besides three granddaughters and one grandson, children of one deceased stepson. On January 20, funeral services were conducted at the Salem Mennonite church by the pastor, Rev. M. A. Niswander in English, and Rev. C. N. Amstutz in German, assisted by Rev. H. R. Shear, of the U. P. church.
