Mennonite Weekly Review obituary: 1927 Jun 29 p. 3
Birth date: 1864 Jul 17
text of obituary:
God calls home his faithful children in various ways, and the call to Mrs. David G. Geiger came very sudden last Tuesday afternoon, June 14, at Pandora, Ohio.
Mrs. David Geiger was in girlhood best of health but had been hoping to live to greet again her son William who has been teaching in Honolulu, Hawaii, the past two years and who is to return home in two weeks.
Mrs. David Geiger was in girlhood Rosina Gilliom and was born on July 17, 1864, thus reaching the age of sixty-two years, ten months and twenty-seven days. She was born near Berne, ind., and in 1880 moved with her folks to this community. Soon after her arrival here on April 15, 1881, she united with the Mennonite church through the rite of baptism, and has ever remained a loyal follower of her Savior.
On October 27, 1887, she was united in marriage to David G. Geiger, who lives to survive her loss.
Her funeral which was held from the St. John church last Friday after noon was quite largely attended. Her pastor Rev. Rosenberger had charge of the service. He was assisted by Rev. Kreider who is Rev. Regier's assistant at he present time.
Interment took place at the St. John cemetery. — Pandora Times.
