• The body of Emil J. C. Gehring, 60, was found Saturday morning at his farm home southwest of Moundridge where he lived alone. Death apparently was self-inflicted by means of carbon monoxide poisoning, and it is believed he had been dead for three or four days. The body was found in a car in the garage. Funeral services were conducted Sunday afternoon at the Eden Mennonite Church, of which he was a member. Mr. Gehring, a widower, was a lifelong resident of the Moundridge community. He leaves one daughter, five sons, five brothers, and a number of grandchildren.
