Carpenter Killed By Falling Brick

Goshen, Ind. — A construction accident in the Goshen business district May 28 claimed the life of Earl Irvin Garber, 71, a carpenter and lifelong resident here.

Employed by th construction firm building an addition to Kline's Department Store here. Mr. Garber was standing on a low scaffold when hit on the head by falling brick. He died of a basal skull fracture before he could be admitted to the Goshen Hospital.

A native of Clinton Township, he was a member of the Clinton Frame Mennonite Church where the funeral services were conducted on Saturday afternoon.
