Funeral services for Kurt R. Galle, 70, well-known Arkansas City teacher and school administrator, were held Wednesday morning, Jan. 24, at the First United Presbyterian Church of Arkansas City. The body was then brought to Newton for an afternoon prayer service at Sister Frieda Memorial Chapel, followed by burial in Greenwood Cemetery here. Mr. Galle died Jan. 21. A native of the Moundridge community, he had lived at Arkansas City since 1923. He was dean of the Cowley County Community Junior College at the time of his retirement in 1963. At the time of death he was vice-president of the Kansas State Retired Teachers Assn.

Funeral services for Kurt R. Galle, 70, well-known Arkansas City teacher and school administrator, were held Wednesday morning, Jan. 24, at the First United Presbyterian Church of Arkansas City. The body was then brought to Newton for an afternoon prayer service at Sister Frieda Memorial Chapel, followed by burial in Greenwood Cemetery here. Mr. Galle died Jan. 21.
