● Katherine (Pankratz) Funk, 80, of Hillsboro, sister of Martha Voth of Newton, died April 18 at Salem Hospital in Hillsboro. Funeral services were held April 22 at Trinity Mennonite Church, Hillsboro, with Roland Goering officiating. Burial was in Haven of Rest Cemetery, rural Hillsboro. She was a lifetime Hillsboro resident and a homemaker. Other survivors include her husband, Arthur R.; five sons, Nelson, Kenneth, Norman and Linferd, all of Hillsboro, and Jim of Marion; one daughter, Edith Unruh of Hillsboro; two other sisters, Marie Flaming of Goessel and Margaret Richert of Wichita; and 14 grandchildren.
