&bull; Peter A. Friesen, 85, long-time resident of the Burrton community, died Jan. 11 at the Bethesda Home in Goessel. Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at the Burrton Mennonite Church with the pastor, Rev. James Gingerich, officiating. Mr. Friesen, a retired farm worker, was born in South Russia and came to the Burrton community in 1891 with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Abraham C. Friesen. He never married. Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. C. C. (Marie) Epp of Hutchinson and Mrs. H. P. (Katie) Krehbiel of Newton.
