• Peter Friesen, 72, retired postal worker of Dodge City, Kan. and a native of Marion County, died at a Dodge City hospital on Feb. 23. Funeral services were conducted Tuesday afternoon at the First Presbyterian Church of Dodge City. Mr. Friesen farmed near Buhler and Great Bend before moving to Dodge City in 1925. He is survived by his widow, Katie; one daughter and two sons; four brothers Rev. Karl Friesen of Newton, Henry of Buhler, Adolph of Goshen, Ind. and C. B. of Hesston; one sister, Mrs. Jake Froese of Buhler; and nine grandchildren.
