• Jacob K. Friesen, 76, retired farmer and a resident of the Conway community since 1927, died there May 11 after a three-year illness. The funeral was conducted Sunday afternoon at the Zion Mennonite Church northwest of Inman, of which he was a member. Survivors include his widow, the former Anna Giesbrecht, nine children and a number of grandchildren.
