Rev. Friesen had served the local church since July 1970. he was formerly pastor of the Elmwood Bethel Church in Winnipeg and the Steinbach, Manitoba Mennonite Church. The body was returned to Steinbach where funeral services were held Feb. 4.

EMB Pastor Dies While Studying at Church

Dalmeny, Sask. — Rev. Henry P. Friesen, 46, pastor of the Dalmeny EMB Church, died suddenly Saturday evening, Jan. 30, at the church while completing his sermon preparation for the next morning.

Rev. Friesen had served the local church since July 1970. he was formerly pastor of the Elmwood Bethel Church in Winnipeg and the Steinbach, Manitoba Mennonite Church. The body was returned to Steinbach where funeral services were held Feb. 4.
