Custom Combine Operator Dies at Scott City, Kan.

Mt. Lake, Minn. — Funeral services were conducted at the Bethel Mennonite Church here Sunday for Henry A. Friesen, 58, custom combine operator who died in the Scott City, Kan. hospital on June 20.

Mr. Friesen left here May 21 to begin harvest operations at Snyder, Okla. and his last job before illness overtook him was at Pratt, Kan. He had done custom cutting for 12 years, but had suffered from a heart condition for several years.

Surviving are his widow, five sons, three daughters, four brothers and three sisters. Two of the children still reside at the farm home near here.
