Munich, N. D. — Funeral services for Cornelius I. Friesen, 78, long-time farmer here, were held Sept. 19 at the Salem Mennonite Church. He had lived at Grand Forks sice retirement in 1956.
Born in Russia, Mr. Freshen came to the Henderson, Neb. community with his parents at the age of six, and was married here to Sarah Thiessen in 1915. She survives with their son, Rev. Abraham Friesen of Fortuna, Mo., two daughters and three grandchildren.
