• Word has been received here the [sic] Abraham J. Friesen, 87, died Saturday night at the Lone Tree Lodge rest home at Meade, Kan. A native of Jansen, Nebr., he had farmed in the Meade community for many years. His six children and a number of grandchildren survive. Funeral services were to be held Wednesday forenoon at the Methodist Church in Meade. Mr. Friesen was a member of the Emmanuel Mennonite Church near there.
