MAN FATALLY INJURED WHILE FELLING TREES AT CARROT RIVER, SASK.
Clarkboro, Sask. — Funeral services were held here early this month for John Friesen, Jr., son of mr. an Mrs. John Friesen, who was fatally injured when his skull was fractured by a falling tree which he and a companion were cutting down. The tragic accident happened at Carrot River, where Mr. Friesen was working in the woods for Peter Buhler.
Mr. Friesen lived for 18 hours after the accident, but died without regaining consciousness. His body was brought here for burial.
