— A large concourse of friends and relatives attended the funeral of Mrs. H. J. Franz at the Hillsboro Mennonite church last Sunday afternoon. Mrs. Franz passed away last week. She is survived by her husband and family. almost impassable roads caused many of those who drove to Hillsboro from Goessel to make long detours, some as much as 30 miles.
