Carbon Monoxide Fumes From Stove Fatal to Newlywed Couple

Middlefield, Ohio. — Carbon monoxide fumes from a coal heating stove in a trailer house proved fatal to it occupants, Mr. and Mrs. Sam W. Fisher, both 22, a newlywed Amish couple. Double funeral services were held on Jan. 27.

Mrs. Fisher, the former Sarah Anderson, was found dead Jan. 23 and her husband died in the hospital two days later. They had been married on Nov. 6, 1969.

He was a son of Mrs. Wm. J. (Emma) Fisher, a widow, and her parents were Eli and Esther Anderson of Holmesville.
